Refund policy
RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & REFUND POLICY
At Aligning Dots, every order is packed with care by our small team. Since our products are paper goods and are handled in limited batches, we request you to read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. NO RETURN POLICY
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
• change of mind
• accidental order placement
• dislike of the product after delivery
• minor variations in colour or appearance due to screen or lighting differences
• normal wear and tear after use
• damage caused by misuse, improper handling, folding, creasing, water exposure, or storage after delivery
As most of our products are stationery and paper-based goods, only items that are genuinely damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery will be considered for review.
2. REPLACEMENT ELIGIBILITY
You may be eligible for a replacement or refund only if:
• You receive a damaged/defective product
• You received the wrong item
To raise such a request, you must email us at aligningdotsxshop@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
3. PROOF REQUIRED FOR DAMAGE/INCORRECT ITEMS
To review any claim, we require:
• a complete unboxing video
• clear photos of the outer packaging and the product
• your order number
The video must be continuous and unedited, and should clearly show the package being opened from its sealed condition. Claims shared without this proof may not be accepted.
4. REVIEW PROCESS
Once we receive your email and supporting proof, our team will carefully review the case. If the issue is verified, we will confirm the next steps with you by email. Please do not send any product back unless our team has confirmed the return process.
All claims relating to damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items are subject to review and verification by our team. Aligning Dots reserves the right to approve, reject, replace, refund, or offer an alternate resolution depending on the nature of the claim and the proof provided.
5. REPLACEMENTS
If your request is approved, we will initiate a replacement. In such cases:
• The return process, if required, will be arranged only after confirmation by our team
• The defective or incorrect item may need to be returned before the replacement is dispatched
Once the returned item is received and verified, please allow up to 7 business days for the replacement to be processed and sent out
If the same product is unavailable, we reserve the right to offer an alternative resolution such as store credit or an alternate design.
6. REFUNDS
We currently do not offer refunds in the ordinary course of business.
Refunds will only be considered in exceptional cases, such as:
• an order is cancelled by us before dispatch
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
7. SALE/DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS
Orders placed during:
• sale periods
• special promotions
• discounted campaigns
• coupon or discount code usage
are not eligible for return or refund, unless the item delivered is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
8. CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, especially after they have entered the processing or dispatch stages. If you need urgent help, please email us at aligningdotsxshop@gmail.com and we will try our best to assist, but cancellation is not guaranteed.
